The short version

We keep your messages with Lull, your plan and your settings so we can make your meditations. We never sell your information or use it for ads. Text /delete any time to erase everything.

What we collect

• Your first name and phone number (and Apple ID email if you text from one).
• Your messages with Lull (about the last 30), and things Lull saves to shape your meditations, like what keeps you up or imagery you like. What you share during a day is used to write that night's meditation.
• Your plan and settings: the focus for each night, voice, length, sound, bedtime and time zone.
• Your meditations: each one is a private link with a long random address, sent only to you. Links and the app keep them for 7 days, and the audio is deleted after 8. We note whether you pressed play, so Lull knows it reached you and can pause new ones if you stop listening.
• How you slept, if you tell us in the app.
• Technical data: basic request information like IP address, used to prevent abuse. One cookie keeps you signed in to the app.

Please don't share things you'd rather keep to yourself; you can always ask Lull to forget something.

Who helps us run Lull

• A messaging provider (working with Apple's iMessage) carries your messages with Lull, so it receives your phone number and messages.
• AI model providers read your messages to write Lull's replies and your meditations, and turn each meditation's text into the voice you hear. We use their business services, under which your data isn't used to train their models.
• A hosting provider runs our server and stores the information above.

They may only use it to provide their service to us. Email us if you'd like to know who they are.

Your choices

• Text Lull to change your plan or settings, "skip tonight", or STOP to stop everything. Settings are also in the app.
• Text /delete (or use Delete account in the app): your messages, plan, settings, meditations and links are erased, and your number is removed from our messaging provider.
• Email hello@textlull.com to ask what we hold about you or to correct it. California residents and others may have more rights; we'll honor them and won't treat you differently for asking.

Age

Lull is for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes

If we change this policy in an important way, we'll tell you before it applies.
